Background
Qosmos provide technology which identifies, provides analyzes in real time precise data on a network.(Network Intelligence, Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), Identity Tracking). See also documentation for users (confidential).
French SME founded in 2000. FSI, (fond stratégique d'investissement) DFJ esprit and Alven Capital invested 19.8 M€ in Qosmos Products in 2011. Probably one of the most important tools used by the China government surveillance & censorship system : the managing director of Qosmos is known to have followed Sarkosy in his first visit in China, in 2007. Intense activity in Asia & in the USA. According to BloombergNews, Qosmos was involved in the Syria censorship system.
Qosmos initiated a global alliance of Network Intelligence providers and vendors. (see Network Intelligence Network )

- Jean-Jacques Damlamian, Chairman of the Board
Former Number 2 and Special Advisor to the President of France Telecom Group, Jean-Jacques Damlamian has spent the greatest part of his career at France Telecom, where he was notably Executive Director of the Group’s Technology and Innovation division.
- Krishna Visvanathan, Board Member
Krishna Visvanathan, a Partner at DFJ Esprit, has been a Venture Capital investor for over 10 years. He was previously a Partner in 3i's Venture Capital team and was responsible for several successful investments including Ezurio Ltd, Ubinetics Ltd, Blue Lithium Inc, E2V plc, Fastnet Systems Ltd and BTN Ltd.
He started his career at Ernst & Young before founding Optika Fibre Technologies, a polymer fibre and display technology start-up based in SE Asia.
He currently sits on the boards of Icera Inc, Netronome Systems Inc, Taptu Ltd, The Cloud Networks Ltd, Light Blue Optics Ltd and Cambridge Semiconductor Ltd.
He has a degree in Management Sciences from the University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Prior to joining the FSI as Investment Director in 2009, Marc Julien was SVP, Acquisitions and Strategy at Schneider Electric, responsible for managing the group’s strategic projects and acquisitions.
From 2002 to 2006 he was a Manager at Estin & Co and from 1998 to 2002 Manager at L.E.K. Consulting.
Between 1995 and 1997, he was a Senior Auditor at PSA Peugeot-Citroën, after having begun his career as Senior Consultant at Eurogroup in 1991.
Marc Julien has a degree in engineering from the Mines de Nancy (France) and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
- Nicolas Celier, Board Member
Nicolas Celier joined Alven Capital as Partner in 2005. Prior to Alven Capital, he served as Investment Director for Crédit Lyonnais Private Equity, and was a member of Paribas's Corporate Finance department, based successively in Paris and Hong Kong.

CEO of French PMU, Philippe Germond was formerly Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of Atos Origin, and previously President and COO of Alcatel, and member of the Executive Committee.
Prior to that, he was Chairman and CEO of Cegetel, SFR, Vivendi Universal Net and Vivendi Telecom International Group. He also held various positions within Hewlett Packard, becoming notably Managing Director of HP Europe South and Member of the Executive Committee HP Europe.
