"Mr. Arthur W. Coviello, Jr., also known as Art, has been an Executive Vice President of EMC Corporation since September 2006. Mr. Coviello served as the President of RSA Security LLC, a Security Division of EMC from March 1999 to February 10, 2011 and served as its Chief Executive Officer since January 2000.
He has strengthened RSA's position in the e-security market through the successful acquisitions of Xcert International, 3G International, TransIndigo and Securant Technologies, and through strategic partnerships with Microsoft and Accenture.
He has more than 30 years of strategic, operating and financial management experience in high technology companies. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of RSA since January 2000 and also served as its Acting Chief Financial Officer. He served as an Executive Vice President of RSA from September 1995 to March 1999, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer from October 1995 to August 1997 and Chief Operating Officer from January 1997 to March 1999.
