Background

"Agnitio is the worldwide leader in voice biometrics for Homeland Security (HLS) with deployments in over 24 countries." -- Emilio Martinez, CEO of AGNITIO --

"AGNITIO S.L. was founded in 2004, initially as a spin-off from a leading University research group doing voice biometrics research since 1994. AGNITIO has worked very closely with key police organizations worldwide with the first technology renditions being co-developments with some of the world’s most reputable police forces.

AGNITIO’s BATVOX was the first voice biometric tool for forensic applications implemented in real life police laboratories. Agnitio was the first company to deploy a 1-to-many identification system (ASIS) for police investigation, and today has been deployed in many countries of Europe and America.

The Biometric Speaker Spotting System family (BS3) is the first and most comprehensive product family for voice surveillance used by Military and Intelligence organizations. Agnitio’s proprietary technology and products are protected by a family of patents that grows every year.

Agnitio´s strong background in government forensics has paved the way for the company to launch KIVOX, voice biometrics technology targeted at the corporate sector. Financial services, telecoms, utilities and other sectors are implementing a new layer of security based on voice biometrics. KIVOX is ideally positioned in this market with inherited qualities developed in the most stringent of environments when it comes to voice-based identification and verification, namely Agnitio´s forensic identification capabilities." "The Guardia Civil, one of the national police bodies of Spain, has been using AGNITIO’s voice biometric technology since 2000, when the technologies were still part of research being developed at the Madrid Polytechnic University (UPM). Since then, the Guardia Civil has led the world in the use of advanced voice biometrics for law enforcement deploying the first ever central police databases of voice biometrics of known criminals and allowing police investigations on intercepted voices samples" -- Emilio Martinez, CEO of AGNITIO --

Products

AGNITO "products can identify one person independently of what the person is saying. It does not require that the voice pattern is recorded using similar or identical words or phrases than those used for identification. Our technology also has cross language capabilities and can identify an individual regardless of if the language spoken at enrollment is different from the language provided during authentication. This feature is critical for most international crime cases." FindBiometrics

  • BATVOX voice biometric tool designed for forensics experts and scientific police to perform speaker verification and compile expert reports as evidence in court.
  • ASIS: Automatic Speaker Identification System (ASIS) makes possible a large voices database for massive search. ASIS is the next generation biometric database.

"Developed with the collaboration of worldwide forensic experts and national police and intelligence organizations, BATVOX and ASIS conform a product family that covers the whole voice treatment process and speaker identification in the lawful scenario. Separated, they are powerful tools that improve the results of forensic teams and identifications in large voice models databases. Together, voice is no more anonymous."

  • BS3 - Near real-time identification for legal call interception made available to intelligence agencies and other legally authorized entities.
  • SIFT – For field operations, SIFT provides a self-contained enrollment and identification capabilities that turns a laptop into a mobile biometric enrollment, verification or identification station.
  • KIVOX: Voice Biometrics for Corporate Speaker Verification
