"George Friedman,Ph.D., Founder of Pinion Software, Inc (formerly known as Infraworks Corporation) and served as its Chief Technology Officer.
Dr. Friedman is an internationally recognized expert in security issues relating to Information Warfare and computer security. He has over 25 years of experience in programming, database construction, computer project management, international research, and intelligence methodologies and analysis.
Dr. Friedman has briefed widely on security and national defense matters, including senior commanders in all armed services, the Office of Net Assessments, SHAPE Technical Center, the U.S. Army War College, National Defense University, The National High Performance Computing and Communications Council, Oak Ridge National Laboratory on the Objective Force Warrior concept, and U.S. Space Command.
He has developed a patented file security technology and a suite of products that protect digital property. Dr. Friedman helped pioneer military modeling technology and in 1994 established the Center for Geopolitical Studies at Louisiana State University.
He serves as Director of Pinion Software, Inc.
Dr. Friedman is also a well-known author of books and articles on international affairs and business intelligence, including The Future of War and The Intelligence Edge.
Dr. Friedman has been a featured speaker at many government and commercial events covering topics such as Information Technology in the 21st Century, Digital Rights Management, and Intelligence and Security for the 21st Century. He has lectured widely on defense and national security issues and has appeared on numerous television and radio shows including National Public Radio, Lou Dobbs Moneyline, CNN’s American Morning and ABC’s This Week as an expert on computer security, information warfare, and international affairs.
