Background

"ImageWare Systems, Inc. (OTCQB: IWSY) is a leading developer of identity management technologies that future proof identity for biometric, secure credential and law enforcement solutions.

ImageWare holds patents on the software platform-based approach to multi–modal biometrics and on biometric fusion, and continues to leverage and expand this foundational intellectual property to secure identity on a global scale.

ImageWare's biometric product line includes a next generation multi-biometric engine that is hardware and algorithm independent, providing a level of modularity, interoperability and massive scalability – from mobile devices to large-scale databases -- previously unavailable in the biometrics and credentialing marketplace.

The company’s proven technology platform is trusted for critical identity programs worldwide.

  • ImageWare's groundbreaking multi-modal biometric software platform manages millions of identities for a wide range of customers from the U.S. Veterans Administration and the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA).
  • ImageWare’s advanced credentialing software has issued tens of millions of identity cards, drivers’ licenses, passports and visas in dozens of countries across the globe.
  • More than 100 Law Enforcement agencies worldwide, including the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, the Arizona Department of Public Safety and the New South Wales Police in Australia, trust ImageWare software to digitally capture, store and retrieve images and data for booking, investigative and identification purposes."
