Background
NOTE: Unknown current state of this company. Their previous website url Intelligentias.com is no longer available.
Curious company history!
June 12, 2007 Intelligentias filed for rebranding (?) or to register the brand Interceptia. Which appears to have been later abandoned along with the incorporation.
After acquisition of a couple of companies in 2007, board of directors bailed ship.
"On September 2, 2008, Intelligentias, Inc. (the "Company") received the written resignations of all the senior executives and members of the Board of Directors. Ian W. Rice resigned as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer; Luigi Caramico resigned as President and a member of the Board; Mario Mene´ resigned as Chief Technical Officer and a member of the Board; Danilo Cacciamatta resigned as a member of the Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee; and Thomas A. Spanier resigned as Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary. Separately, Royston Hoggarth resigned as a member of the Board on August 26, 2008. Mr. Rice has agreed to remain as the sole director until September 15, 2008.
As disclosed in the Company's Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the period ended June 30, 2008, without additional financing the Company does not have the ability to continue as a going concern. During the past two months senior management solicited financing proposals and received term sheets from several parties indicating that they are willing to provide financing, subject to appropriate due diligence and acceptable accommodations from the Company's principal stockholders and creditors. After extensive discussions with all parties, the Company's management was unable to reach an agreement satisfactory to all of the relevant constituencies that would allow any proposed financing opportunity to go forward.
After carefully reviewing all of the circumstances of the financing efforts and available alternatives, the senior executives and Board concluded that they had no viable options that would allow them to continue operating the Company. Therefore, they tendered their resignations." EDGAR online SEC filings

Intelligentias acquired RETENTIA for their data retention capabilities which appear to have been contracted to Xalted Inc. that is providing these services.
"Intelligentias, Inc. provides forensic data retention software for telecommunications companies, Internet service providers (ISPs), businesses, law enforcement and other government agencies.
The company’s DRS software provides for data capture, storage and subsequent forensics examination of multiple data sets, including telephone and web-surfing records. DRS is built on its proprietary file system-based technology that uses less storage space and has faster response times than those of relational database management systems. DRS uses a distributed architecture that allows very large scalability by using low-end servers. It has real-time data analysis and reporting capability, preserves security and access control in complete accordance with the European Union and other directives.
The company, during 2007, acquired a 51% ownership interest in Spectia società a responsabilità limitata (Spectia Srl), an Italian limited liability company, to address the market for video surveillance and the data retention requirements related to the collection and analysis of such data. Spectia provides a total video surveillance solution to customers, including hardware (which is installed by third parties), data retention software and related maintenance.
Products and Services
The company’s proprietary data retention and forensic software product is known as its Data Retention Suite (DRS). Telecom-service providers use DRS to keep track of the telephone calls made by their customers. Internet service providers use it to keep track of the websites visited by their customers; and law enforcement agencies use it to detect criminal activities and apprehend perpetrators.
The company’s DRS software provides for data capture, storage and subsequent forensics examination of multiple data sets, including telephone and web-surfing records.
DRS is built on its proprietary file system-based technology that uses less storage space and has faster response times than those of relational database management systems (RDBMS). It is ‘purpose-built’ and excludes RDBMS technology or licensing requirements. DRS uses a distributed architecture that allows very large scalability by using low-end, low-cost servers. It has real-time data analysis and reporting capability, preserves security and access control in complete accordance with the European Union and other directives.
DRS is designed to address the data retention, call detail records and system scalability concerns of its target markets. Data Retention Directive targets fixed, mobile and Internet telephony, as well as Internet access and e-mail. The company’s Data Retention Suite is a complete package of software products that manages the processing of requests from law enforcement agencies, using a centralized architecture.
DRS is comprised of three products: DRS/wm (workflow management), DRS/db (database) and DRS/fs (file systems).
- DRS/wm handles all phases of warrant execution, including management of incoming requests, the splitting of services, the actual intercept, management of storage system interfaces and multi-repository virtualization.
- DRS/db and DRS/fs provide for the archiving and fast retrieval of traffic stored on database or file systems storage architecture, in a compressed and encrypted format, to meet its performance standards under its service agreements.
- DRS/db is completely convergent and data independent. The company’s DRS solutions have the necessary data capture, storage and subsequent forensics examination capabilities for multiple data sets, including telephone and web-surfing records, to meet CDR system needs.
Customers and System Integrators
The company’s marketing focus is on telecommunications companies, ISPs, law enforcement agencies and corporate enterprise customers, primarily in the European Union and the Middle East.
