"Mr. Frank Kern has been Chief Executive Officer of Aricent Group since October 8, 2012. Mr. Kern has a long career starting in sales and continuing in positions of increasing responsibility with the IBM Corporation. He led Global Business Services, a $19 billion business unit with 110,000 employees that encompassed consulting, systems integration, and application capabilities, and supported clients around the world in all major industries. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Distribution, leading IBM's worldwide sales organization, with responsibility for over $100 billion of corporate revenues as well as client satisfaction in 170 countries. Mr. Kern was located in Shanghai, China, and Tokyo, Japan, where he led the Asia Pacific region from 2003 to 2008. Prior to his work in Asia, Mr. Kern was located in Paris, France, from 1998 to 2003, and managed the operations of IBM's Global Business Services unit for Europe, Middle East & Africa. From 1995 to 1997, he served as Chief Executive Officer of IBM Global Services in Australia. He serves as Director of Aricent Group. Frank Kern, Chief Executive Officer

Frank Kern was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Aricent Group in October 2012. Frank has had a long career starting in sales and continuing in positions of increasing responsibility with the IBM Corporation. In his most recent role, he led Global Business Services, a $19 billion business unit with 110,000 employees that encompassed consulting, systems integration, and application capabilities, and supported clients around the world in all major industries. Prior to that position, he served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Distribution, leading IBM's worldwide sales organization, with responsibility for over $100 billion of corporate revenues as well as client satisfaction in 170 countries. Frank was located in Shanghai, China, and Tokyo, Japan where he led the Asia Pacific region from 2003 through early 2008. Before his work in Asia, he was located in Paris, France, from 1998 through 2003, and managed the operations of IBM's Global Business Services unit for Europe, Middle East & Africa. From 1995 through 1997, he served as Chief Executive Officer of IBM Global Services in Australia. Frank is a graduate of Bucknell University and received his MBA degree from Syracuse University.

C.P. Murali,President and Chief Operating Officer

C.P. Murali has been with the Aricent Group since 1994, and has been instrumental in restructuring the company from a captive software development firm to a strong global technology innovation organization. C.P’s’s strong customer focus and organizational skills have helped the business unit develop solutions for telecommunication equipment manufacturers facing daunting development and deployment challenges. Before joining Aricent, C.P. served at the Center for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), New Delhi, where he was part of the pioneering software engineering team that designed and developed indigenous Digital Switching Systems for the Indian market.

Ilya Cantor, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Ilya Cantor is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Aricent. He has held this position since November 2013 and is responsible for the company’s overall financial strategy and management. llya has more than 20 years of experience at multinational companies with expertise in raising capital, mergers and acquisitions and investor relations. Most recently, Ilya served for more than seven years as CFO of EPAM (NYSE: EPAM) Systems, a software engineering and IT consulting company. There he oversaw multiple acquisitions, strengthened the company’s overall financial foundation and guided the company through a critical period of rapid expansion. For seven years prior to EPAM, Ilya held positions at Dow Jones & Company including Group Finance Director of WSJ International (1999 to 2003) and CFO of the Wall Street Journal (2003 to 2006). He also served as Executive Director of Operations of the Wall Street Journal, where he was responsible for the highly successful launch of the Weekend Edition and executed a strategic repositioning of the Journal's International Editions. He also led a comprehensive redesign of the newspaper. Additionally, he served for three years as a Board Member of CNBC International, a joint partnership between Dow Jones and NBC. Earlier in his career, Ilya worked for several years in Moscow, first at Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) and then at Independent Media (now Independent Media - Sanoma), one of Russia’s leading publishing houses. Ilya holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from California State University at Long Beach.

Amit Shashank,Executive Vice President - General Counsel & Secretary, Legal

Amit Shashank is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Aricent. He joined the Company in October 2013 and is responsible for the company’s overall legal strategy. Prior to joining Aricent, Amit spent almost a decade as Executive Vice President, General Counsel at ExlService Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: EXLS), a multinational business process solutions company that provides outsourcing and data analytics offerings to Fortune 1000 clients. In addition to working with clients to close several complex services and licensing contracts, he spearheaded the company’s IPO and NASDAQ listing, was the executive sponsor of the legal support outsourcing business line and executed on a series of acquisition transactions – and was instrumental in taking EXL from a $40 million to a $475 million business. Before joining EXL, Amit practiced corporate law for seven years at the New York law firm of Shearman & Sterling LLP. Amit holds a Juris Doctor from The University of Michigan Law School; a Master of Arts from Oxford University where he was a Rhodes Scholar; and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Delhi University in India.

Hari Haran,Chief Sales Officer

Hari Haran is the Chief Sales Officer at Aricent and joined in December 2013. He is responsible for growing the business by building exemplary client relationships by bringing the best of Aricent to them. Hari has more 25 years of globally recognized expertise in technology sales and marketing in a wide array of telecommunications-related areas, from wireless and broadband to convergence and professional services. He has built strong relationships with such diverse and high-profile companies as Samsung, Hewlett-Packard, AT&T, Cisco, IBM, and Vodafone. Before joining Aricent, Hari was President and Head of Global Sales and Marketing of Persistent Systems, a provider of outsourced software product development services. During his five years at Persistent, the company grew to become one of the leading product engineering solutions providers. Hari has held CEO positions at several start-up companies in the engineering services and software space including Penbase and Longboard, and sales and marketing leadership roles at Openwave Systems, Littlefeet and Lucent Technologies. Hari completed the executive management curriculum at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisiana, Monroe, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India.

René Link,Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer

René Link is Aricent’s Chief Marketing and Demand Officer, since June 2013. Starting in 1988 as an engineer for NYNEX Mobile Communications and then Bell Atlantic Mobile (both now Verizon Wireless), René has built his entire career in the telecom and wireless industry. Most recently, René was Vice President of Marketing & Solutions at Juniper Networks, where he led global marketing, strategy, and go-to-market efforts for the company’s $3 billion service provider sector. René also held positions at VeriSign as Vice President of Industry Marketing for the Global Telecom division and then as Vice President of Global Strategy, Corporate Development, Product Marketing & Business Development for VeriSign’s Messaging and Mobile Media Business. He had been Vice President of Marketing and CIO at inCode Wireless (a Sequoia Capital company) for five years prior to the company’s acquisition by VeriSign in 2006. As a member of the executive management team, he oversaw all areas of global marketing and the development of wireless solutions. René holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Master of Business Administration from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College-CUNY.

Eric D. Buhrfeind,Senior Vice President and Global Head of Human Resources

Eric D Buhrfeind is an accomplished talent management leader. He has more than two decades experience in global human resource management; leadership development and coaching; change management and organizational change, including client consulting. With a track record of successfully building high performing, globally dispersed teams, Buhrfeind has deep expertise in designing and deploying complex talent strategy and processes on a global scale including a strong focus on key emerging markets. Before joining the Aricent Group, Buhrfeind held various global HR leadership roles at Accenture. Buhrfeind holds a Master of Arts in Psychology (Honors) and a bachelor’s degree in German from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, US.
