Background
As of July, 2011 MorphoTrust USA, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Safran SA.
MorphoTrust USA, Inc. was formerly known as L-1 Identity Solutions Inc. and changed its name in 2011.
The company also has a facial recognition solution in use by the FBI for their Next Generation Identity program as well as mtiple techologies in use at the Department of Defense. [1]

Mr. Eckel lead the former L-1 Biometric, Secure Credentialing and Enrollment Services businesses in the United States (U.S.). He manages these businesses under a Proxy Board pursuant to an agreement developed with the U.S. government. Mr. Eckel is responsible for the business performance and operations including managing the development and implementation of solutions for State, Federal and international customers. Mr. Eckel served as Executive Vice President of the L-1 Secure Credentialing Division, where he was responsible for managing the U.S. State Department of Motor Vehicle business, a group that today provides solutions used to produce more than 80 percent of U.S. driver's licenses. He served as President of the L-1 Secure Credentialing Division at L-1 Identity Solutions Inc. since December 2010.
Mr. Eckel served as President of Digimarc ID Systems, LLC since April 2005 and its President of Government Programs since August 2005.
Prior to joining L-1 Secure, Mr. Eckel served as Vice President and General Manager, Air Traffic Management Systems for Raytheon Company in Marlboro, Massachusetts from 1999 to 2005. In this capacity, he was responsible for the business performance and operations for a portfolio of domestic and international programs as well as developing and maintaining strong customer relationships and business partnerships with commercial customers and the Department of Defense.
Prior to this position at Raytheon, he held increasing levels of responsibility including Program Director roles for production missile and advanced system development programs from 1995 to 1999, and from 1990 to 1995, he held various levels of technical management in the development of advanced electronic and optical systems.
From 1980 to 1990, he served in key managerial and technical leadership capacities in developing electronic systems and large-scale integrated circuits at Hughes Aircraft Company in Canoga Park, California.

Mr. Carroll served as Vice President of Business Risk International (BRI), the Professional Law Enforcement (PLE) Division.

Mr. Carroll served as an Officer at Dayton, Ohio, Police Department, where he specialized in narcotics, organized crime, and motorcycle gang enforcement. He managed and participated in long-term undercover operations.

Dr. Mohamed Lazzoun has been named to the Board of Advisors for the Centre for Identity at the University of Texas (UT) at Austin. Dr. Lazzouni joins board members from IBM, LexisNexis, VISA, the US Secret Service, the FBI and others from industry, government and academia.
Lazzouni is a strategist and technology leader for MorphoTrust. He has been personally engaged in almost every advancement in biometrics over the past two decades, and has expertise in a wide variety of technologies including facial, iris, and fingerprint recognition. Dr. Lazzouni is an architect of identity systems in use by US government agencies and many state motor vehicle agencies today.

Mr. Richard A. Agostinelli has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of DigitalPersona, Inc. since June 2012. Mr. Agostinelli is responsible for developing DigitalPersona's strategic business relationships and setting the overall direction for it.
He has 30 years experience in successfully setting strategic direction and building infrastructure for high-growth, multi-location international businesses, both public and private.

Dr. Joseph J. Atick is the President and Chief Executive Officer at Identix Identification Services. Dr. Atick has been serving in this role since June 2002, when it was merged with Visionics Corp. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Visionics Corp. from February 16, 2001 to June 2001 and as its President from April 1, 2001 to June 2002. Additionally, Dr. Atick served as Chief Executive Officer at Visionics Technology Corporation from 1994 until its merger with Digital Biometrics, Inc., in February 2001, forming Visionics Corporation.
After founding Visionics, he steered the company through a successful merger with Digital Biometrics. One year later, Dr. Atick led the merger of Visionics with Identix. He has been a Director of Identix Inc., since June 2002. He served as a Director of Visionics Corp., from February 16, 2001 to June 2001.
Before his work with Identix, Dr. Atick led the Computational Neuroscience Laboratory at Rockefeller University and the Neural Cybernetics Group at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey.
